Hero Bio Template and Creation

Basically to create a Hero Bio that will be references on the Hero Bios page you can work 100% within the confines of the Drupal system. Below I have provided a template based on the bio page originally designed for Miss Tigress's bio and then reworked slightly for Starmaster's bio:

You have the option of creating your own Hero Bio design and uploading it on your own. You are not required to use the above, just the above may make life a little easier for some.

Once you have your desired layout, or if you just want to use the Drupal editor to create your Hero Bio, you need to go and create a page. To do this, find the and click the left hand option to create content and then choose page.

Decide if you want to allow people to comment on your bio or not (this is entirely at your discresion -- I figure some people might like their bio pages untainted) under User comments.

Do not touch the choices under Options.

If offered, do not assign a Path alias we are not using them.

In the Body place the HTML code and/or BBCode and/or simple text, that comprises the Hero Bio page you'd like for your characters.

Then click Submit when you are done.

Wait for your browser to finish loading, and then look at the URL provided. You will see something much like this:

Where number is a numeric value.

Write down that number and keep it handy.

Now go to your user profile by clicking my account on the left, and choose edit. Then choose Hero Characters.

Find the character for whom you created a bio. Then find that characters Bio Node Number field and enter in the number you wrote down from your URL above.

Choose Save account, and you're done.

Now on the Supergroup Membership page that character's name should now be a link to the bio you created (make sure the link works properly), and you should also now see that hero listed on the Hero Bios page.
