I could really use an awaken about now

Hey everyone! I just thought I would pass along word that I expect to be away from the game for the near forseeable future. I just got home tonight after spending Wednesday night doped up on delaudin (7 times stronger than morphine) in the hospital for severe abdominal pains.
So far, all the tests that I have taken have come back negative. My doctor is going to perform more tests on me tomorrow such as an "Upper GI Scope" to check for ulcers. After that he may go for some CAT scans and MRI's and it's possible I will be admitted again tomorrow until they can find the source of my discomfort.
However, if all goes right, I will be fine and back to playing on Saturday. Just an FYI for you all.

Meanwhile.......
Well, I had the Upper GI this morning (camera down the throat) and I learned that I as the two nurses said "You have the strongest gag reflex of anyone we've ever seen!" Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but thank god for the bite guard they gave me.
The immediate results came back negative. They took two biopsies from my stomach to measure the bacteria count and check for maybe the acid/ph levels and I should know about those on Tuesday, but they definitely ruled out an ucler. I think they are going to want to do a few more extensive tests to check out my gall baldder and possibly remove it.
On the good side, I have been relaesed and was told to continue doing things as normal, though I have next to zero appetite for food and I crave apple juice like a vampire craves blood. Either way, I will be on some today and this weekend

Good luck with the tests. I had bad acid reflux for about two years, did lots of tests (cameras up both ends!!), took lots of drugs and nothing helped much. A "health nut" friend of mine got me using all natural treatments for over a year now and I'm doing much better.
