TiVoToGo
Well we have two Series 2 TiVo's here at home, and since I'm an prior tester for TiVo I got the TiVoToGo update package early. And we just burned our first DVD with it. This is a very nice little setup. Record something on TiVo, copy it to your computer, burn it to DVD. We had been looking at the Humax TiVo player with a built in DVD+R drive, but its no longer needed. We did purchase the Sonic DVD software to do this.
Overall its gonna prove nice in the future and a neat, inexpesive way to build the DVD collection up even further.

I'm glad its working well for
I'm glad its working well for you. I'm waiting for the Voom HD Tivo box coming this year then I'll take the Tivo plunge. After watching shows in HD I've been spoiled. If the resolution is in 1080i and they have a wireless means to send it to my computer upstairs I would be very happy if I can somehow burn a HD disk.
Voodoo Priest - Magic Controller
I went a step further...
My kids both wanted those video players called "Juice Box" for Christmans. Like a Videonow, but with cartridges. There is a expansion that let's you download MP3's to a Secure Digital card.
They also wanted to upgrade to Game Boy Advance SP.
I went out and found something called the Game Boy Movie player. It lets you download music and Video to compact flash cartridges and play them back on your Game Boy Advance. (Works with the DS too)
So with my Replay TV (when it is working, but that's another story) I use a program called DVArchive (makes my computer look like another ReplayTV on the network) and download all my kids shows they want like Teen Titans, Kids Next Door, etc. The software can also automaticaly remove commericals.
Then we convert them to the GBA format, and they can take the shows with them

Ms Mystic - Kinetics / Psychic Defender
American Dreams - Martial Arts / Invuln Scrapper
Shrike - Energy / Energy Blaster
I could use that...
I had 30 hours of recordable space on my Dish Network (not the same) but they were filling up with Movies. I would have loved a DVD record feature.
