Lego Star Wars
I picked this game up a fee weeks ago when it came out.
I knew it was supposed to be a game for younger audiences,
but it was supposed to be a lot of fun.
It is. Don't get me wrong. This is a game you can beat
in a single rental, but if you like Star Wars, it's a load
of fun. Plus, if you have some young gamers in the house,
it would be a great choice.
A few of the high points:
No Death -- That's right. You die, you reappear about three
seconds later. No big deal. There are sections with jumping
involved where you have to survive, but you get unlimited tries
at it.
Simple Controls -- Jump. Attack. Force. Switch characters. That's
it. Four buttons.
Humor -- The game has some pretty amusing moments, and some of
the extras you can buy with "money" collected in the levels are
funny.
2 Player Action -- This is more of a benefit for playing a game with
a child. You can step in and out of a second character slot at will.

On the flip side of this, if you are an adult and like mowing down
eleven-hundred enemies in a half hour, Dynasty Warriors 5 is by far
the best iteration of that series.
