Ive been trying to come up with a viable good origin angle and I think the last engagement of the night did it. Dr. Shortstuff is an ex-Skyraider.

but I kinda like the looks of the hat he has now. Makes him look like a Skymarshal.

With the new cone'd helmets you can get a costume very close to a Sky-Raider, if you're interested.
