Though its fairly easy to figure out what's really going on about halfway through the movie I have to say this is likely the best animated movie bar none, including Incredibles in the past several years.

Not that Incredibles isn't a phenominal movie, it just really didn't set the bar any higher for computer animated movies. It did however set the bar higher for Superhero movies as it caused 20% of the Fantastic Four movie to be redone/shot last year and caused an increase in the budgets for both X-Men 3 and Spiderman 3.

But Hoodwinked goes aboive and beyond. It out-Shreks Shrek, it out-stories Toy Story, and the whole movie is so tightly knit, and incredbily funny throughout that you can't help but completely enjoy it.

It sets the bar quite high for upcoming computer animated movies though clever dialog, choesive plot, excellent and well cast characters, its comedy is contained to the story and not a bunch of over-done shoehorned pop-culture references which seem to plague computer animated movies (not that it doesn't have them, but rather that they're relavent to the story and not just there like in other movies).
