Okay Shrike...

Since using Drupal comes from you, and since I'm completely stumped on this. Aside from giving people global node adminstering funtionality (which I think would be bad), is there a way for people to edit their own forum topics? Comments can be edited. even pages and images can be edited. But if someone starts a forum topic they can't edit their own forum topics.

Near as I can tell on the drupal site this is "by design" which a lot of other people posting on the drupal seem to think is "very dumb" and "counter intuitive" and I tend to agree with this. Especially for forums its dumb. I mean flat out dumb.

Any ideas/thoughts?
