Well GNU has a free version of what is basically photoshop called GIMP.

That said, if you have office installed paint will be able to import/export JPG and GIF files. And resizing is real easy there.

Im trying to create an avatar from a recent pic of Maq after his new costume changes. Im using Adobe Photoshop 2.0 Starter Edition, but I cant seem to re-size the image to an 80x80. Any suggestions for different software?

I don't know why you can't see it. I'm pretty sure Avatarsofjustice.org isn't blocked in your HOSTS file. Since your ad blocking program isn't active it can't be interfering with seeing your avatar. I have no idea why you can't see it.

Seriously though, problem is looking to be on your end. I can see it on my machine, on Cheryl's machine, and VPN'd through work (which means viewed routed through MA instead of FL).

Yes I have one, but after reading your post I shut it down and tried looking at again with the same results. I feel like the Aquaman of the forums.

Do you have any ad blocking programs? I was working on a website once and I couldn't see the banner I included. I checked the FTP, logs everything and yet the banner didn't show.<p>Finally I noticed my AddSubtract was set up to hide everything 468X60 pixels. Could this be happening to you?<hr>

It seems weird to go back and read my own posts, so go figure, I never do. But today for some reason I thought I would check and see if my avatar shows up, and I discovered it doesn't.

I have no idea why this is the case. Any suggestions? (And yes, to the best of my knowledge I uploaded the jpg correctly; at least is shows that in my account section).

Nope that's fine. Just if people want them here the system has them as uploads and not as URLs so they're already here technically.

It's no use calling yourself Captain Invincible if your only power is control over Hostess Twinkies and you suffer from a congenital hole-in-the-heart condition. It's just asking for trouble.

BTW to do this go to your Navigation menu (menu with your registration name above it) and choose "my account->edit account". Avatar is all the way on the bottom.

I should add that Avatars are limited to 80x80 (fairly standard for forums) and 30kb and need to be jpg.
