AC People?

Yes I came from the GofD on the LC server and accidentally signed up for the other Guardians of Dereth on the HG server. Luckily enough they let me stay on the list then eventually roll over to the AoJ.
My brother exit wound and my good friend Code zero also played on the LC server.

Voodoo Priest - Magic Controller

For probably the 7-8 months of the game, I played it. Couldn't tell you what server I was on to save my life, but I was Kai Mula.

I've also played Sims Online, EQ (Still have an account, but haven't logged on for months), AO and beta tested a bunch of games. I admittedly like WOW (I was in the week long stress test), so I'll probably spend a little time there when it comes out.

Right now the only thing I am seriously playing is CoH and occasionally a few games of Magic the Gathering Online.

As far as up coming games are concerned, the only thing out there that really has my interest is D & D online. WoW just hasn't interested me at all, which is weird because I absolutely loved the first two games. If I had extra cash to spend, I would probably play a little AC or SWG again, but I am not sure because I really enjoy playing CoH.

I wish I could play CoH more often than I do, but things probably won't change for another month. The only threat to my playing time is that after over a year of not having a regular teaching job, the school I am working at convinced one of their teachers to "resign" for reasons unknown to me, and I am once again a full time teacher of all things history!! But since this has happened so abruptly, I have a ton of early prep work to do and that is taking almost all the free time I have available to me. But, I am not complaining at all.

As for WoW playing on your laptop, the game ran extraordinarily smoothly, I never had any slowdowns to speak of. I'm running a fairly stacked system though, what's your laptop config?

Psychedelic - Illusion/Empathy Controller (Science)

This does beg the question of what other games people are partaking in at the moment and what people are looking forward to in the future. I agree with Psychedelic that this is a great group of folks and I sure do enjoy MMOGs with this group.

In the past I've played:
* EverQuest (for a month)
* Asheron's Call (for about three years, mostly as Van Dyksun on Harvestgain)
* Asheron's Call 2 (for about three months in 2003, as Vansun)
* A Tale in the Desert, first telling

(I've beta tested some other things, but not for any length of time)

I'm currently playing:
* City of Heroes (of course!)
* YoHoHO! Puzzle Pirates (as Psmith)

I haven't kept my eye to what's upcoming, although I know a lot of people are interested in WoW, and I'd be willing to check it out as long as my laptop can handle it.

I played AC off and on for about a year. It's been so long ago I can't remember which server. It was a fun but frustrating game. I seemed to die too much due to lost internet connections.

I tried it out, never really did it for me. I was an EQ addict at the time. Also tried AC2, but was a DAoC addict at the time, heh.

So no, I never really played any Asheron's very seriously.

I had just remembered hearing that some AoJ was from AC and I guess I was wondering if you had plans to play other new mmorpgs later on as well (WoW for instance). ...wow, that's a lot of acronyms.

AoJ is a great group, and I'd like to think some people would be there (not that I'll be leaving CoH, I've kinda gotten re-addicted to it again ). Guilds scare me, AoJ is the first group I've ever stuck with, Pyro can vouch for me on this one

Okay some of us are from an allegiance on Harvestgain called the Guardians of Dereth. This includes myself, Miss Dale, Herodotus Frost (who I know as Crazz from AC), and I think Comet Flame (who I think is Kusami -- shoot me if I'm wrong there). Also Baldus, and Proximon are from there too (who in AC are Baldus and Proximon), for those that met them.

And then oddly Voodoo Priest comes from the Guardians of Dereth also, but NOT the same Guardians we do. One day he signed up for our mail list thinking it was for his group, and even after he found out it wasn't he stayed on. So when we came here, he came along too.

Also, I think Geero played AC too. And his friends, Embrosia, Rising Torent, and Bogart, also played AC, but I believe they've crept back there.
