**Pretty much SPOILER-FREE**
As a big South Park fan, I was looking forward to this movie, but I've got to say I wasn't nearly as impressed with Team America as I hoped I would be.
The songs weren't very good (and actually a little repetitive), about half of the jokes fell flat and it seemed to drag during the pre-requisite "Lead character has a crisis of faith" scene. I kinda walked away wondering if Trey Parker and Matt Stone just wanted to have marionettes say the F-Word a lot...
Don't get me wrong! Some of the jokes were great, and I did a good bit of laughing. I don't regret seeing it, but I don't expect that I'll see this movie again or buy the DVD when it comes out.
I guess I was expecting it to be more like the South Park movie which is one of my all-time favorite movies. At least there, the songs were hysterical and memorable, and dropping the F-Bomb had a little meaning!

My favorite moment...
Outside of the infamous sex scene that almost got it an NC-17 and the neverending "crisis of faith" scene outside of the bar....
My favorite moment had to be the introduction of Kim Jong Il's "panthers"
It was a very silly moment, but I'm easily amused!

Pretty sure the only reason they made this movie was to do things with marionettes that you never saw in an Anderson marionette show. What made me laugh the most was the last third of the movie beginning with the "crisis of faith" sequence which by the way, Im wondering why the Zucker Bros. never used such a scene as that seemed to be something they would have done. I would put it on the same level as South Park the movie.
And there was a larger trailer for the Incredibles in front of Team America. I definitely cant wait to see this movie. It will probably beat out Shrek 2 box office.
--Did someone say the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man is rampaging in Atlas Park? OMW and I'm bringing the Fire to toast 'im!
