How to get CoH fix while offline...
1. Buy an X-Box
2. Get X-Men Legends
Oh My SUPREME BEING!!!
This game rocks! I have been playing this game for the past week to ease the seperation pain of being offline from CoH.
You start off with Wolverine at level one and start from there. Gradually increasing in level. And just like in CoH, as you gain levels you gain power. You earn a Stat point and power point. Use the Stat point to increase one of four stats. The Power point is used to increase level of your powers. And though you start off initially controlling one character, Wolverine, your team maxes out at four members. And Cryptic may want to take a cue from this game if Cryptic really wants to inspire team play. If the player can get two team members to use a combination of powers to subdue a villain, the player recieves a percentage xp bonus on top of the original xp garnered for defeating the villain. ( Like for an example, a controller locks down a MoB and then said mob is pummeled by team mates, the team would receive a 20% increase in xp) The cinematics' animation is excellent.
Probably the other aspect of the game that it seems to have over CoH is the impact a player can have on the evironment. Characters can destroy the environment or pick up and throw objects useing them as weapons. I definitely hope Cryptic takes a cue from that part of this game and incorporates it into CoH.
All in all though, it cant beat out the fact about the one element I miss most about CoH: hanging with you guys and doing team missions with other players.

I was really disappointed to
I was really disappointed to see thre was no Pc version of this game. The commecials for it look very good.
We have it too...
Yep, multiplayer is cool, but my kids don't like it when they have to sit and wait while there is only one player (like Magma) on the screen.
Pretty fun.

Great game!!
We've got it here, too, and it really is a great game and even more fun as a multi-player game (although I'm interested in trying it on my own in a solo game sometime when I have time).
The graphics are good, the powers stay relatively true to the X-Men. I'm not completely convinced that using the "Ultimate" X-Men version was the best choice for the game. The only advantage I can see to going that path is that all of the heroes (except Wolverine) are teenagers and students at Xavier's school. Otherwise, I think the classic Marvel versions would have been best since they're more recognizable.
I do think it's funny that the main plot is the usual "We don't want humans to fear us and hate us" and yet all we do is destroy stuff in their town to find health and energy potions. Talk about your wanton destruction!
