For those of you who saw the Justice League this past weekend, I'm not sure if you realized that the Ultimen were playing homage to some of the old Superfriends:
Wind Dragon == Samurai
Long Shadow == Apache Chief
"electric guy" == Black Vulcan
Shifter & Downpour== Wonder Twins

Funny thing is that as soon as dounpour goes after Aquaman I shout "Idiot! King of the Sea!" And then Aquaman says that it was beautiful.
Shifter was actually kind of boring because Beast Boy on the Teen Titans cartoon is much more fluid.
